LinkedIn increasing wages
Briefly talking about the way LinkedIn has taken over for the professional network is for us all to know. How exciting does it become knowing a recruiter or hiring manager has reviewed your profile! It literally activates a eagerness to want to succeed and label your accomplishments on the website. LinkedIn being such a user friendly app to gain exposure and insight into companies has been a great platform in finding jobs. I look forward to seeing all of you on there as I would like to be Linked to your professional profile.
Apparently I have a LinkedIn profile although I don't remember setting it up nor do I have any idea about how to access what is there. I was really hoping this class would be a short learning experience as to how to accurately establish a profile and use it as it was intended to be used. I know that many of my peers rely on LinkedIn rather than Facebook to establish professional relationships. I'm going to do more research as to how to use that profile more effectively. Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteI have a LinkedIn profile and I found the job search tools better than any other service out there. They provide work for people looking for middle management to senior management levels and you have the ability to present yourself online in a professional setting. I do not utilize Facebook or Twitter often but,I keep up with my LinkedIn profile and the articles presented by my links. I look periodically at the job availabilities but, as of late have been fortunate to find a great position with a good company. I continue to use the LinkedIn site for industry interest.
ReplyDeleteLinkedIn a great source of establishing professional relationships, reconnecting with former coworkers and connecting with news with new employers. It has worked well for me especially as it points to reviewing new jobs. Indeed it ignites a fire in you knowing that a recruiter or or hiring manager has reviewed my profile….I check in with LinkedIn at least 4 times a week.
